Thank you all for the extremely informative posts. Has anyone used Gen AI in an IT services environment working with IT service providers to meet their requirements for internal customers?
I'm using external chatbots, primarily Copilot, and an internal chatbot (NIPRGPT) that appears to be based on Google's Gemini product. I've used it to generate project documents (project plan, technical requirements, slides, etc.) and to classify and edit language. It's cut the time required to create the base documents by 90% but requires close supervision. Saving Changes...

Since we’re just starting to explore Generative AI, we’re currently developing basic checklists focused on data privacy, accuracy verification, and ethical use to guide early adoption. We’re also prioritizing staff training to build awareness about AI limitations like biases and hallucinations before fully integrating it into workflows. This approach would helps us prepare responsibly while learning how GenAI can best support our projects. Saving Changes...

Preparing for Generative AI integration requires careful planning, structured assessments, and robust governance. While I don't directly manage projects myself, companies often follow key readiness strategies, such as:
AI Readiness Checklist – Organizations establish structured guidelines to evaluate data quality, security, compliance, and ethical considerations before deploying AI.
Risk & Compliance Frameworks – Businesses ensure AI aligns with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and implement safeguards for responsible AI use.
Data Infrastructure Assessment – Teams assess whether existing data pipelines, storage, and processing systems can handle AI workloads efficiently.
Model Testing & Validation Protocols – Organizations conduct bias assessments, performance benchmarking, and pilot runs to fine-tune AI applications.
Human-AI Collaboration Guidelines – Companies set clear policies for how AI supports human decision-making rather than fully automating critical processes.
Continuous Monitoring & Feedback Loops – AI models are regularly assessed post-deployment to ensure ongoing improvements and ethical alignment.

We are currently in the planning phase for adopting Generative AI within our operations. As part of our initiation, we’re organizing training sessions for our team to build awareness and explore potential use cases (design optimization, customer support, reporting, etc.). We haven’t formalized specific checklists yet — would love to hear suggestions or best practices from others on how to structure readiness and implementation effectively!" Saving Changes...
We are at the beginning stages of implementing this at my organization. However, we hope this is something that we can get up and running in a short period. Having recently transitioned our data to SharePoint, we are considering the use of an AI Agent to assist with searching specific locations to extract data which can be used to generate status reports across the different teams, thereby reducing the effort currently needed to provide these updates on a weekly basis. I have not much experience in AI, but I would consider the following: identify AI-powered tasks that may include data analysis, chatbots, and content creation, starting with a simple implementation to see AI’s effectiveness. Secondly, security considerations and data quality would be key, ensuring data is structured and establishing security protocols. This will also inform us of the right AI tools to use. I will use standard tools like ChatGPT, Google Dialogflow, and Microsoft Power Automate as a beginner. Lastly, the ethical guidelines should be established, and bias and human oversight should be checked. Saving Changes...

The question is broad spectrum but looking forward to how we will cater the diverse clientage we have from Healthcare to Fed space and operating in very different environments could be a challenge.
But in my understanding like any other every other project the, it will be the business need, Customer Clarity and Data Set which will drive the AI deployment. Saving Changes...
