I have been using ChatGPT; it has increased my productivity. I will be looking into the tools posted by Hakam Madi and Vladislav.

Data cleaning, charting, and even Gen AI tools are embedded and implicit to the Tableau deployment I actively utilize since I am not only a PMP, but also a Tableau practitioner. Almost all of the Gen AI discussion in the PMI training is inherent to being a Tableau practitioner and leveraging data and data analytics for business critical insights and transformation.

I have recently had a chance to complete the Generative AI Overview for Project Managers which was insightful while delving into the AI and its use in managing the projects. Though not specifically for a waterfall project especially with industry bias, the course had clear ideas and insightful slides explaining the role of AI going to be in near future in streamlining the operations.

Would be interesting to see how structured data as input can help in having the resolutions/disputes etc., managed by using AI in waterfall projects.

Another addition would be to see how the supply chain gets a boost while using AI for the particular project with possible enterprise input for the region.

Some of the basic meeting summarizations and action items summaries are incredibly game changing when calendars overlap or for time zone differences. Our company uses Teams CoPilot for these capabilities.

GenAI has been helpful in creating documentation. I'd like to try incorporating AI meeting minute taking. This would be extremely helpful.

Apart from ChatGPT I use Copilot and Gemeni (BARD) every day. I also use the https://gamma.app/ on need basis. Using these tools inside office network is not easy. Many of these are blocked.

Thank you, Hakan, really interesting answer.

Presenting data is going to be one of the skills of project managers. Since we are going to gather such an amount of AI-generated data we need more than ever to understand the audience, choose the right chart type, and be time concerned.

https://www.datawrapper.de/charts is easy to understand and the good thing is that it even lets you explore the tool with some preuploaded data. Concepts like purchasing data, cleaning, and presenting it seem to be part of our everyday decisions as project managers. A good starting tool.

Looker Studio gives us the chance to connect to our Google Analytics accounts which could be convenient especially if we have already started gathering traffic data, and usage data... with G. Annalytics. If we don't mind sharing our data this could be a nice way to integrate it with a powerful tool. Everything is in the same Google environment.

Have you seen Google’s AI note-taking app NotebookLM? Although only available to U.S. users, it seems quite promising for project managers, it is presented as "the expert in the information you need for your projects, capable of answering questions based on the supplied sources,” according to Google Labs Editorial Director Stephen Johnson put it.
Thank you Claudia for the question. Thanks to Hakam for the interesting answer. As an Independent Consultant for Sustainability, I must say that Looker Studio has been really helpful in visualizing data. I collect, calculate, and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data for clients. Data for Scope 3 emissions are accounted for per category. With Looker Studio, I can turn the data into compelling stories of data visualization art.

Moreover, one of the accounting and reporting steps is tracking GHG emissions over time, which involves base year calculations and recalculations (if necessary). Base year is the period (i.e., year) against which an organization’s GHG emissions are tracked over time. Current emissions can be compared to a reference point in the past (i.e., base year). Looker Studio helps have a proper visualization of the comparison.

At this point as a solo practitioner, I use ChatGPT 4. I'm starting to explore extensions.

I use Wizsm analytics, which incorporates my patented ideation ad problem solving method.

The data cleaning process can be done with python packages available like Pandas, Numpy, to deliver exploratory data analysis instead of relying on paid softwares that are more generic and not PM specific.
These data cleaning solution are able to connect to existing data visualization tools available like Tableau, Power BI or other python packages if you want a more tailored solution
