Have you experienced wonderful, potentially unexpected successes using Generative AI in your projects?

I'm eager to hear about the innovative outcomes you've achieved with Gen AI, and how data played a role in these ventures.

What challenges did you encounter, and what benefits did you realize in this process?

Thank you Claudia for posting this question about the innovative outcomes achieved with Gen AI. As I am not working on a physical project now because I am in the Academia area, I can only enjoy looking at the responses of my colleagues and try to reflect them in my lessons.

I am not sure if this is part of GenAI, but so far I have been using AI to help generate content for a report.

For my projects, the only usage is for drafting initial content for common project documentation, such as project charter content sections. It still requires a thorough review plus additional edits, however it is like having an assistant.

As of this date, we have yet to implemented GenAI into our projects. After doing these GenAI course at PMI, we will be looking at possible implementation of GenAI in future project, slowly at first to test them out and later implementing more and more.

My agency has yet to implement GenAI into our projects. After reviewing these GenAI course available through PMI I feel I have some foundational knowledge I can apply to further discussion of its use.

The two applications we have adopted have yielded significant time savings, even with the need for human-in-the-middle interventions along the way. Our BD team has expressed gratitude for the quick turnarounds we are achieving (same day or next day) when asked to conduct Go/No-go assessments of RFIs, RDP, and Sources Sought documents. On the recruiting front, we have been able to very quickly screen through hundreds of applicants' resumes while conducting a comprehensive matching of applicants against the job descriptions. This is a superior process to conducting manual resume reviews and relying on the applicant tracking system's keyword searching as the main discriminant.

Nothing yet, we're exploring the use of AI for some of the SmartMetering data that we're processing. This course is coming in handy to get acquainted with AI. Thanks.

Challenges remain the same from long time ago (Gen AI is outside there from long time ago): AI entities have a grade of confidence associated to them that must be published with the results. So, the final decision still remains in human being hands. The same for the outcomes: helps me to search patterns in a hugh amount of data to create the information I need adding that today I can find data public and outside my organization.
I have been successful in using a word file to create a power point document for my clients.

I haven't had the opportunity to use Generative AI (Gen AI) in any projects yet, but this course has definitely piqued my interest! It's fascinating to hear about the innovative outcomes achieved with Gen AI and how data plays such a crucial role in its success.

While I'm currently managing projects in a more traditional way, I'm eager to learn more about how Gen AI can be integrated in the future. I'm particularly interested in exploring how it could potentially improve efficiency or automate some of the more tedious tasks.

This course is giving me a great foundation to understand the possibilities and challenges of Gen AI. Who knows, maybe I'll be implementing it in my projects sooner than I think!
