I use it extensively in taking meeting notes. For about a year now I've been using Zoom AI Summary. At first it defintely needed correction, now it is quite good. It almost always captures action items and conversation details.

I've used it a lot and I'm always on the lookout for new developments in the world of A.I. I'm currently working on an IT service governance project and generative has helped me a lot to develop policies that are more appropriate to the context, analyse large volumes of data and generate valuable insights. It's important for us as project managers to realise that there are a multitude of tools to support different sectors. As an example, I can cite Artificial Intelligence tools that enter meetings and automatically compile all the minutes with a full transcript (in minutes). This is a huge step forward, and if we take advantage of it, we'll reach the highest levels of efficiency.
This use of AI sounds not only exciting but productive. We have not implemented AI at the time. But I am appreciating what I have been learning here.

Hi All, it's interesting reading your various experiences with GenAI. On my part, my first experience using chatGPT a couple of years back was not impressive as more than half of the information it provided was incorrect. With Amazon's Alexa, there was some improvement, and lately I've used Microsoft copilot a few times and the information has been quite good. I believe GenAI has come to stay and we're both still learning how to partner.

I am using Generative AI in preparing the closure report of the Projects. It's very helpful to get a raw list of risks mitigated and key achievements. I just tailor the results by adding some specific key information in it w.r.t project that AI tool is not aware of and BOOM! its all done.

One of the challenge I face with GenAI is it cannot help in adding specifics such as 10% TAT reduction by streamlining approvals etc. but it help me with foundation bullet points. Also, one aspect is due to sensitive and confidential data I am unable to share the key results or outcomes report with tools like ChatGPT, Bard, Gemini etc.

I am doing research on using AI responsibly as at times I am unable to determine what sort of data is considered ethical and acceptable as per organisation to be shared with AI tools. As of now, our organisation has not developed any policy to support the employees for understanding AI responsible practices as per regulations.

Anyone also struggling with using AI responsibly feel free to share you experience.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is essential in project management, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and productivity. By analyzing large datasets, AI provides actionable insights that inform decision-making, leading to successful project outcomes. It streamlines workflows through automation of routine tasks, allowing teams to concentrate on strategic planning and execution. AI also improves stakeholder engagement by personalizing communication and service delivery, fostering stronger relationships. In industries like healthcare, AI supports project management by optimizing resource allocation and enhancing diagnostics, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. The integration of AI in project management not only drives innovation but also ensures organizations maintain a competitive edge, enabling them to respond swiftly to changing market dynamics. Overall, AI serves as a transformative tool that elevates project management practices, shaping the future of business success.

Practically, I can't believe the power the GPT's and Llama's have unleashed. They are splendid in terms of personal learning and amplifying the human potential. I personally have used them to create presentations, generate professional documents and trainings material for the team etc. The biggest challenge i feel there is, is to now what you need.
One need's to uplift their own knowledge base to expand the frontiers of possibilities. You can't do what you don't know can't happen.
Thus advent of AI has resulted in unprecedented mass learning spree which is uplifting the society as a whole.

One challenge we did encounter, processing data from troubleshooting tickets for a specific type of fault, was the counters' data correlation with external databases: e.g. temperature historical database for a specific region. Benefit: When data could be right formatted and the correlation with external database was set up, we could forecast, having 90% accuracy, with 2 (two weeks) in advance, when the onsite intervention is needed to improve the air conditioning on the remote unit, before blades failure, due to very low/high temperature.

I am open to learn more on the successes achieved by others. I have not deployed it in any project yet.
