Used a tool with Python code to extract data from the source system for a migration project. Generative AI helped create the input CSV from the extracted data. Constant tweaking of prompts was required to get the data in a readable format and under the right column headers. Once we had a successful mapping run with the target system, the execution was repeatable and eliminated the need for constant querying of the database and avoided data corruption. Manual review is required even if the process is clean and repeatable to ensure final accuracy and sign off before migration. Saving Changes...

I have experienced several wonderful and unexpectedly valuable successes in using Generative AI, particularly ChatGPT, in my projects. Firstly, project specifications are typically worded in complex, technical language, but ChatGPT has enabled me to extract and list the key requirements in bullet form, making them easier to interpret. More importantly, it often suggests practical ways to comply with each requirement. Secondly, writing formal correspondences was once a challenge for me. By using ChatGPT—with well-structured prompts and key bullet points—I am now able to compose professional letters with greater ease. Over time, my ability to frame effective prompts has improved, allowing me to even specify the tone and structural attributes of the letters I need. Lastly, I have introduced ChatGPT to my colleagues and supervisor in our Supervision Consultant company, which is involved in a complex Airport/Aviation programme managing multiple project packages with limited resources. Those who have embraced AI have notably enhanced their task delivery, even under highly constrained conditions. This has made the experience not only personally rewarding but also beneficial to our team's overall performance.
One of the key challenges I encountered in using Generative AI was drafting effective prompts. Often, the initial prompt would not yield a fully acceptable response, requiring several re-iterations, refinements, or complete rephrasing. This process taught me that prompt engineering is not a straightforward task—it is, in fact, an art. It demands imagination, clarity of intent, and continuous improvement, especially when the outcome does not initially meet expectations. Not yet Due to limitation on where I work (Govt.) but utilizing it to learn about how to improve my projects yes. It has been a tremendous help and success in finding ways to complete projects without having to use work data in an unsecured environment.
-I'm eager to hear about the innovative outcomes you've achieved with Gen AI, and how data played a role in these ventures.
Utilizing Simulated Data I was able to utilize the model it generated to analyze my data more effectively and present it in a way that also made it easy to explain to key stakeholders.

I can only use made up data to help me wrap my mind around things as we are not able to use the GPTs due to security concerns. Once we have an established GPT this would be great. Saving Changes...
