Just a quick question...once a GPT has been customized, is it good to say the information be used within the customized GPT will not be available to the public?

Used GenAI to analyze 50+ project emails for sentiment patterns and escalation triggers - reduced stakeholder conflicts by 60% through early intervention.

Key insight: AI spotted linguistic patterns humans missed in high-volume communications. The challenge was team skepticism, but the results spoke for themselves.

Lesson: GenAI is like having a project health monitor that never sleeps.

Our successes with Generative AI have been focused on early-stage adoption and operational enablement rather than large-scale implementation. We’ve begun piloting AI-driven tools to streamline routine processes and enhance productivity across departments.

Some early wins include:

Operational Efficiency Gains – We’ve used generative tools to assist with drafting internal communications, policy summaries, and training materials. This has improved turnaround times and consistency in messaging.

Process Documentation and Standardization – AI-assisted text generation has been valuable in helping our teams convert complex workflows into clear, standardized documentation. This supports compliance readiness and internal knowledge sharing.

Enhanced Strategic Planning – Generative models are being used in an exploratory capacity to summarize data insights and support decision-making—helping project leads visualize potential outcomes and improve planning accuracy.

While these are modest beginnings, the tangible success has been in building organizational awareness and confidence in responsible AI adoption. Our next phase involves aligning Generative AI initiatives with our data governance protocols and evaluating scalable use cases that enhance patient experience, compliance efficiency, and internal collaboration.

Drafts emails, meeting notes, and reports quickly and professionally—saving time and improving clarity.

Also helps in summarising complex data, highlights key insights, and assists in evaluating options for informed decision-making.

GenAI can tremendously assist in reducing time spent in working or generating report for lesson learned on a project, however the quality of data and prompting is very key. Humans are still in the loop to prompt and extract meaningful information and patterns that are relevant to project.

Working as a PM in a small company, AI has been my friend. AI helps me create templates, status reports, meeting agenda, kickoff meeting slides, etc.

I don't provide AI with customer data but I provide it enough information to give me a meaningful and specific results.

One of my key achievements in integrating generative AI into project management was enhancing the quality of information delivered to stakeholders. I accomplished this by developing a Microsoft Copilot agent—similar to GPTs—equipped with tailored prompts that enabled stakeholders to access real-time project updates. This significantly reduced the volume of documentation they needed to review, saving time and streamlining access to critical project details.

I have successfully used it in generating draft documents on the one hand as well as showing my students what it takes to generate a good draft (I mean something that can be used as a good starting point for further work). On the other hand, I have used it to transform real project data and lessons learnt into case studies that could be used in teaching without disclosing sensitive data or compromising confidentiality aspects.
