On personal level, it has increasing efficiency and improving quality of documentation. It is great tool while conducting research online since it can provide summaries or point out more accurate subset of information.

At Organization level, it has been extremely efficient. Generative AI is used for wring DIR to perform user acceptance testing and producing outcomes which are easy to understand for stakeholders at all levels.

About 75-90 percent of a project manager’s time is spent formally or informally communicating, according to PMI’s Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (aka, PMBOK) and it is true in real world scenario. Gen AI is an invaluable support tool for all my writing needs

Hi Claudia,

I'm happy to share the moment when I was working on a PDF sheet manually to convert all the tables into an excel format; and then from that data I must extract information stored in a single row to multiple rows (dependent on record in a specific cell). This was huge data and for days and months working I only achieved 10% of the work. I was tired of it. But magic happened I think for shortcut and by using ChatGPT I uploaded the PDF and prompt for converting it in Excel format. and done. Just in minutes. Then I prompt with Example provided one row working and ask ChatGPT to do the same for rest of the Record. It was unbelievable for me that in a minute the data which was impossible for me to do by myself was 100% exactly what I wanted. From that time, I'm using Gen AI for easy my daily office works.

Hi Claudia, thanks for asking the question - I am still learning AI though, however, I am planning to use AI in - (1) Creating the project critical path, (2) Risk and its mitigation plan (3) Change Management Timelines. Thanks

AI helped me create several VB macros for different projects to automate many manual tasks the team was performing. The task took me around 30 minutes and it was not too data-intensive. The only data fed to the model was basically the desired outcome, structure of the inputs and requirements.
Glad it worked for macros as well. I have had successes in ChatGPT constructing demo, full stack applications in C#/ASP.Net and React, and a graphical Python app. Just a year or two ago, I couldn't get AI to give me working applications and some results were so bad, I gave up on trying to fix them. AI has really "learned" not only how to write applications correctly, but to implement best practices as well. A huge step forward for GenAI and a big help to coding projects.

I've been using Gen AI on a daily basis for several months now for brainstorming, research, writing reports, and email communications. This has increased my efficiency and my curiosity to learn and become more proficient.

Excellent presentation of the objective and outcome. One big takeaway - the organization must be disciplined to collect data to seed any sort of AI analytical undertaking. It is unfortunate that I commonly find this to not be the case and a inhibitor to capitalizing on the computational power available via various AI/LLM utilities. Also - good mention about the tension (my word) of sanitized data. Protect proprietary data at the cost of using it in the data set for more specific outputs. Thanks for sharing your project!

Gen AI really helps in identifying risk involved in the project. If you give the write prompt with proper details , it list out risk even at a micro level. Which I as a human could not even have thought of.
