Hello PM Fam,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Life has been very busy.

I’m reaching out because I’m thinking about starting up an IT consulting business. I realize one of the first things to do would be to come up with a name. Any suggestions? It would likely specialize in government contracting and naturally, government projects.

So far I've come up with a short list. Please see below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond with 1, 2 or 3. or why you think none would be right. Perhaps you have a name in mind.

Thanks in advance.

1. DynaGov Solutions or Consulting

2. VictoryPoint Solutions

3. AgilePath Consulting

I'd lean towards something combining part of your name and the focus of your business such as VictorGov Consulting. The only risk with that is if you end up diversifying outside of the government domain...

Thanks for the comment, Kiron. I actually would not mind being flexible in what my business would have to offer. However, how would "VictorGov Consulting" communicate that I do anything outside of government contracts?

Hi Victor,

Playing on your current word choices and the meaning of your name, I like » VictoriesPath

It’s easy to use in tag lines:
» Stratify your vision through VictoriesPath, your road to objective success.
» VictoriesPath will lead you to….

Thanks for the comment, George. I agree, it does sound great for and intro to a mission or vision statement. I asked chat gpt the other day to give me a give me a list of consulting names with the word "Victory" in it and one of the names was "TechVictory Innovations".

Victor, part of my business name consists of my name initials: RMK Coaching so you could use for example VG Consulting but you need to make sure the domain is available online to purchase. I wanted initially RMK Consulting but that wasn’t available so I went with the next best option RMK Coaching.

On another note, I also advise you to buy your name domain: victorginoba.com and when you establish your business website you can let this domain reroute to your business page as well.
