What, if any, terms are you using to replace the use of stakeholder?

More and more organizations are moving away from using the term stakeholder. There are many reasons, but one of the key reasons is to de-colonize language and avoid harm when working with Indigenous communities.

Are there alternative that you are using/ found most useful?

Interesting question - I personally wasn’t aware of this and would be interested in what others have to say!

This question has come up a couple times. Here's one short thread: https://www.projectmanagement.com/discussi...085/stakeholder

If you use the search function, you can de-select everything but discussions and scroll a bit to find others.
Well, A few alternatives that I have used frequently in the past are key actors, affected population, and relevant parties. I personally prefer affected population.
