Missing Exam in Course

Hi There!

I purchased the Project Management Basics Program in July 2023. It included the PMO 6th Edition, Agile guide, and a Practice Test. I finished the course today and noticed that there is no longer a practice test or the Agile Guide in my course. I was not informed that this change would be happening.

I reached out to customer service and they said they could not help. They advised that I purchase a new course or purchase a practice test, I unfortunately do not have the spare income to pay for an additional course. I am so stressed about this and worried that PMI will not help me. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Alysa, sorry to hear that. You might find this thread helpful:

Quote from Kimberly Whitby: "PM Basics is no longer the official PMI prep course for the CAPM exam. PMI launched a new course to replace it, the PMI® Authorized On-Demand Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Prep Course".

I am surprised that PMI said they can't help you given that the change was initiated by them for a course that you've already purchased. For other candidates, I heard that to compensate them for the missing practice exam, PMI probably have given then access to the new course, which covers crucial project management principles following the PMBOK® Guide – Seventh Edition. While this course doesn't have a dedicated simulator, it's crafted to fully prepare you for the CAPM exam with the right skills and knowledge. You have to go through the modules of the new course and then you will get the certificate of completion.

Kimberly Whitby: Alysa did contact customer care already but they didn't help her. Can you help in anyway?
