Below are two qualitative stakeholder analysis tools that might be useful:

a) Power-Interest Grid
b) RACI Matrix

Zahra -

Another common one is the Stakeholder Salience Model. You can also have a modified version of the Power-Interest grid by adding in Attitude. This could be done on an XY chart by using a different shape for stakeholders who are negatively oriented, neutral or positively oriented towards the project.

Zahra, there are a few more that I would recommend:

1) Stakeholder Cube in which Stakeholders are classified into eight categories evaluates stakeholders based on three dimensions: power, interest, and attitude.

2) Mendelow's Matrix which is similar to the power-interest grid but it also considers the organization's attitude towards stakeholders, categorizing them into four groups: key players, keep satisfied, minimal effort, and monitor which is why I prefer using this over the power-interest grid.

Hope this helps!

My recommendation is going to PMI´s documentation related to business analysis. there are two guides: the practice guide and the body of knowledge. you will find great documentation inside.
