The Seventh Edition of the PMBOK Guide already describes a tailoring process. Do you believe that a dedicated process should be added to the next edition (8th(. What do you think?

If this "process "were to be added to the 8th Ed, wouldn't this be advocating a return to the process orientation of the earlier editions?
I suggest it be added to the Process Group Guide.

While continuous improvement is a desirable state, continuous expense is not. Based on the downstream effects of every PMBOK update, can't PMI consider an 8-10 year review cycle?
Ivanna,
to my knowledge, the update cycle requirement follows the ANSI process

Tailoring is a standard process - all organizations do it. why do we need such overemphasis on it?
