Hello Felica - I highly suggest reaching out to your local chapter's website to request a mentor, as this is the best way to network with locals in your area and build relationships.

Many PMI Chapters have mentoring programs (South Africa, Germany, Poland). Yet the application periods are limited, so you have to monitor them for their annual intake.
Mentoring programs and relationships these days are mostly virtual.

You can also contact people you admire and ask them personally, e.g. via LinkedIn or here. Great leaders are responsive and open to new relationships, but also may have limited capacity.

Maybe can start by seeking experienced project managers within your workplace. Many organizations have internal mentorship programs that pair junior staff with seasoned professionals for guidance. Check with your HR department or network with colleagues to identify potential mentors who can offer context-specific advice and support.=)

That’s definitely the right approach Danny PMP, PgMP It’s usually easier and more effective to begin your mentorship journey with an experienced PM in your workplace or within your city. I would do the same.
If there isn’t a professional PM around you, the next step would be to connect with your local PMI chapter. That said, some cities are quite remote and may not have active local chapters nearby.
If those options don’t work out, I’d turn to the PMI community, look for someone whose mindset and approach align with mine, and respectfully reach out to ask for mentorship.. Good luck, Felicia Wilson
