Real life course/training for IT project

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for a real-life PM training course, something like a scenario or simulation for an IT project, covering everything from initiation to closure, with comprehensive project management documentation. For example, the project manager receives a signed contract with the client along with other documents such as functional/technical requirements. Then, the PM starts preparing the necessary project documents. The training/course I’m looking for should focus on how the PM develops the deliverables, milestones, schedule, RTM, and any other required documents and plans.

Is there a training platform, course, or someone who offers this type of practical training?

The foundational PM course that the company I train for offers uses a single fictitious business scenario as the basis for most of the exercises including - creation of a charter, risk register, WBS, network diagram and more.

I am sure that most PM-specific training companies will do something similar.

I recommend visiting your local PMI chapter. They often have membership programs that include training sessions or "Lunch and Learn" events. These can provide practical scenarios, like the one you're looking for, where they explain how to develop a business case and other project management deliverables. Also, did you check webinars in this platform? Maybe you can find one that fits your needs.
