With Generative AI, iteratively refining and optimizing prompts can lead to better AI-generated results. This may involve adjusting the specificity or clarity of the prompt to increase relevance and accuracy of results.

What examples do you have of how improving a prompt drastically changed the output quality?  What specific changes did you make that led to the improvement?

This example is from a graphical AI application where I was looking to generate visuals for a presentation: it was impressive how much control one has over the output by being specific about the time period of the picture, time of day, weather, number of people in the picture, zoom & focus.

refining the prompts allows the AI to learn during the conversation and one thing I do, I use the same prompt for two different platforms and based on the feedback I provide more details to the one that fits my inicial request (outcome), and the result is satisfactory

I have been using COPILOT the past 3 months as a program director. Leading many types of calls, I have come up with 3 workflows (templated rinse/repeat, semi customized and fully customized). The CREATE is definitely what I am going to use moving forward for my customized version. Thank you for this and I cannot wait to start to use this approach. Garbage in-garbage out is how I see prompt engineering.

A concise clear message is always my goal when communicating. I've found through refining, AI provides a clear concise message without losing any vital information and addresses question proactively through the concise respond

Although I haven't worked with prompt engineering much, I can assume the approach of breaking a prompt into subtasks would help the LLM give more effective outputs.
