Are methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban being used? How is agility balanced with the need to meet business requirements?

Hi Fabian,

At our PMO, we're increasingly incorporating agile principles to enhance flexibility and responsiveness. In 2018, as an Agile Project Control Officer for an LNG project at Saipem, I successfully implemented Scrum to manage project timelines and resources.
It was a FEED in order to approve (or not) a Final Investment Decision so we utilized sprints to break down the overall project in modules, enabling the team to deliver incremental progress while allowing for regular adjustments.

Kanban was also employed to visualize workflows, helping us identify interface bottlenecks early and improve efficiency.
