AI is the buzz word these days as internet and emails were 4 decades back. However, for PM professionals for maintaining the quality, time line, and cost over runs, how challenging will be the AI tools becoming available on smart phones now, to achieve the project goals in the end as per its scope? I find time has come to share knowledge on this dimension of AI among the PM professionals.

Cameron, I believe AI will make the PMs job more efficient by allowing them to focus on value-added activities which will help achieve project goals more effectively and efficiently.

The point is: AI is a board term. We are using AI from more than 40 years ago including it we are surrounded for AI entities inside refrigerators, air conditioners, etc. So, the buzzword is generative AI but unfortunately some people and organizations are contributing to generate confusion when they do not use the term in the right way. Nothing new below the sun. With that said I think (or guess) the PMI is aware on that and it is doing a work on the matter. I hope so.

Generative AI tools will increase efficiency greatly and should be considered its much better to adopt tools with all phases of project.
