What strategies do you use to ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle? How do you handle situations where their expectations shift mid-project?

Following up with stakeholders, especially the higher priority ones, on a regular basis is important. Taking the time to understand (upfront) what their priorities are as far as the project is concerned can also help with this.

Managing stakeholder expectations is a crucial aspect of project management, especially in complex projects. To ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle, several strategies can be employed. Complex projects usually involve multiple layers of stakeholders, so it is important to proactively construct a mind map.

Clear communication is the Main key. It is essential to set realistic expectations from the onset and maintain open and transparent communication throughout the project. This includes regular updates, progress reports, and stakeholder engagement.
