I recently noticed that PMI has introduced the Cognitive Project Management for AI (CPMAI) certification, which sounds like an exciting opportunity for learning and growth. However, I've observed that the certification fees are significantly higher than those of most other PMI certifications. Could anyone share insights on why the market positioning of this certification is so different?

Hi! Now that this is an official PMI certification, I am finding it difficult to find up to date information on the exam.

1) Is it online or in person at Pearson?
2) If it is online, is it hosted through the Pearson proctored portal? (I've had limited success with the portal in the past).
3) Are there practice exams available that are in line with the current exam?
4) Are there plans to change any of this in the next few months - put differently, I don't want to take the course, practice for the exam and then the exam format, content, etc. changes shortly thereafter.

Thanks everyone! Super excited to delve into this course!

Could you share the answers to yours questions please? I have the exact same questions!

I'm also interested in a practice exam if possible. I'm almost 50% with the course.
Thank you
Hey Christine, did you find a mock exam? Have you attempted the actual exam yet? If so, could you let me know about the difficult of questions and any relevant facts that might be of help?

To all in this thread. I am enrolled in the current CMPAI course. First, for anyone who is working with AI and needs a foundation this course is a must. Second, for the current course, when you add up any other PMI training for a certification plus the test, CMPAI is actually a deal for the current online course. I highly recommend it.
Hi Robert. I am halfway through the training and extremely impressed with the course. Were you able to complete the course and pass the exam? I am wondering if there is a practice exam available or if you have any other helpful tips.

Hi all, as an update to the topics and questions raised in this thread, the CPMAI™ certification has been brought into the PMI ecosystem and is now live on PMI.org.

You will notice updated pricing; an enhanced exam experience; an introductory course to get you started; and advanced eLearning options.

Learn more about the certification here.
I am currently enrolled and halfway through the course. Do you know if there is a practice exam available?

Hi Karen, I have the same questions as you. Did you any feedback from Nicholas? Have you taken your exam yet? If so, any feedback that you can share would be grateful, as I am contemplating starting the course. Thank you.

Hello CPMAI enthusiasts
Can someone please post those Q&A's for everyone's benefit?
I have recently enrolled and 90 days is not a lot of time.
Thanks and wishing everyone good luck,

Hi folks,
There seems to be a lot of confusion about this course and the exam. While I appreciate the outreach to me, I am just as lost.

I am about a third of the way through the course. What I have gathered is:

1) The exam is available through Vue, both online proctored or at a testing center
2) I have yet to find a mock exam, other than the periodic Knowledge Checks throughout the course

I will keep this thread updated if I find anything worth sharing, but in the meantime, this course and exam remain shrouded in mystery.

You should get in touch with Ronald Schmelzer as he will be able to weigh-in on this.

As for mock-up exams, I am not aware of any at the moment!

I completed the training offered by PMI. Are there any study materials apart from the training course or links to question bank. It's hard to prepare for exam without textbook or additional resources. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on how to prepare for CPMAI exam.
Can someone who does not have PMP take
CPMAI ?
