Project management being a daunting task, its possible that sometimes the challenges can be overwhelming. But of course, it has its fair share of rewards as well.

One example that continues to resonate with me decades later is a time when I took over a troubled project from a more senior PM. Not only was the project delayed but the PM had managed to alienate key members of the team. I was able to negotiate for sufficient "breathing room" to re-establish a positive working relationship with the team, reduce scope to the bare minimum and we then delivered the project on time.

Thanks for the reply Kiron! And yes, its always a herculean task when taking over a different project, not to mention when it is not in its best phase. Its like buying a second hand car with faulty parts.

Hi Bisharah

During the successful completion of an engineered sanitary landfill, the honorable client further recommended our team for another New project.

Bisharah, many years ago, I was part of the management team for a construction project to build a University Facility in the shape of a hand. This was one of the most challenging and complex projects Ive ever worked on but upon its completion, we all were so proud of the final product!

Thanks for sharing Rami! It sounds amazing and even though my background is not in construction, it sounds really daunting to me. Happy to hear that it bought the entire team the success it deserved.
