When presenting the closure report for a failed project, maintain a professional tone while being humble and open about mistakes. Acknowledge where things didn’t go as planned, but focus on what the team learned and how those lessons will guide future efforts. This shows accountability without being overly personal, and reinforces a proactive, solution-oriented mindset for continuous improvement in project management.
