According to me, AI should be looked as a tool to enhance the capabilities of a Project Manager but still major brain work had to be done by PM, what do you think?

Use AI as a tool and our job as PM is to make sure to use this tool in a intelligent and productive way without compromising on the protocols. What do you think about that?

For the foreseeable future, yes. And in many cases a PM might have to do even more work as the effort involved with thoroughly checking inputs, output results, and providing feedback to improve the AI models might be significant.

AI is a board term. We are using AI in project/program/portfolio management for more than 40 years ago. We need to use terms carefully. The break point is with the new model of generative AI. PMI is talking more specifically about generative AI in they last courses delivered free of cost. So, about generative AI, roles/process/methods/techniques defined for the PMI are "dead on arrive". All of us need to reinvent ourself and the PMI, I guess, can help on us. If not, "the business" is out.

I think you may be implying Generative AI here. Yes, it should be viewed as a tool, and also used with caution, unless it has been thoroughly vetted for fairly streamlined and repetitive, non mission-critical tasks.
