The changes in project management tools and emerging tools introduced by AI employ different management models and other enhanced tools such as: computer vision, natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI, along with other technologies to create systems that can efficiently execute manual tasks and repetitive administrative work automatically, providing data-driven insights and decision support through the use of advanced analytics, improving customer experience with personalization and chatbots.
In managing several projects that I manage, it is noticeable that advances in AI are accelerating and accentuated in the use and its transformation has become an important factor for the long-term success of the project development in any phase. According to "Augmented work for an automated, AI-driven world", a recent report by the Institute for Business Value at IBM, organizations that integrate AI into their transformation process more often outperform their competitors.
We can say that the transformation towards the Use of AI is a more holistic effort than simply replicating existing data management processes with the application of new technologies. A well-designed AI transformation strategy has the ability to create completely new ways of doing business, increase productivity, and facilitate the sustainable development of any good or product.
