Hello community,
I am exploring the use of AI and data science in general to improve decision making, portfolio prioritization and risk/issue anticipation. Anybody has experience on that? I'm looking at predictive modelling using historic data from past projects/portfolio.
Thanks in advance!

Sure. First of all: remember that AI is a board term. We are using AI for the type of things you stated from more than 40 years ago. So, nothing new below the sun. But, the thing explodes with the new model of generative Ai published on 2017 that create a big movement on the world. But this is not AI. It is just a subset of AI. With that said, in AI, decisions ALWAYS are on hand of human beings. In the Ai world this is calling "human in the loop". With AI will help is, between other things, analyze a big amount of data (all the data availabe "in the universe" if we talk about generative AI) to synthetize and/or get some kind of suggestions with probabilities associated to the data that could help to take decisions. To do that, it is a hard work to do starting for all related to today called Data Science.
