Do we understand diversity in the same way?

Diversity for me means all candidates or employees have equal rights, benefits and recognition, irrespective of gender, nationality or other demographics. This would help companies in hiring the best talent tailored to business requirements. However, some companies use this strategy as a marketing tool as well. What are your thoughts on this?

Diversity and Inclusion is a hot topic in the USA right now, and Kiron and Keith were spot on.

Diversity ensures equal opportunities, but inclusion unlocks its value. It’s amazing to work in a diverse team, but as project managers, if we don’t actively foster inclusion in our teams—ensuring everyone feels valued and empowered—diversity alone won’t work.

Prioritizing belonging and collaboration is essential to truly benefit from the strengths and perspectives a diverse team brings.
