Your experience of pay-as-you-go AI development

Right now, SaaS in the AI context is everywhere. There seems to be a GenAI clone for almost every use case. In my experience, however, these tools often aren’t tailored enough, at least not to be used effectively in a business setting. (Leaving aside standard chatbots for websites or tools like CoPilot.)

But when it comes to custom AI development by agencies, we’re quickly looking at costs of over €50k, even for small use cases. (That often goes beyond my budget for the projects). My colleague came across a site called Free AI Development for Your Business. Apparently, you can have a custom business case implemented there for free and only pay for its usage. This means you’re essentially transferring 100% of the risk.

Have any of you had experience with something like this or come across a similar service? We’re wondering if this is one of those “too good to be true” situations.
