Hello Community, I have question on PMP certification, in terms of eligibility requirement for PMP certification, one of the criteria is: 35 hours of project management education/training (GAC core project management course work is pre-approved to fulfill this requirement)". question is, how to obtain this training ? Do I still need to obtain such training when I am already having 6+ years of work exp into project management. Appreciate the answer from the wider community and experience

Deepanshu, the requirements are clear on PMI's website. You have three options:

Option (1)
- High school or secondary school diploma
- Minimum 60 months/5 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
- 35 hours of project management education/training. You can also meet this requirement if you have CAPM Certification.

Option (2)
- Bachelor's degree or higher (or global equivalent)
- 36 months/3 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
- 35 hours of project management education/training. You can also meet this requirement if you have CAPM Certification.

Option (3)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (or global equivalent) from a GAC accredited program
- 24 months/2 years experience leading and managing projects within the past eight years
- 35 hours of project management education/training (GAC core project management course work is pre-approved to fulfill this requirement)

In all three options, the 35 educational hours is a must requirement regardless of how many years of experience you have. Any Project Management courses that is equivalent to 35 hours would work. For example, Joseph Phillips courses on Udemy.
