I have recently completed a training course of Power BI and was pleasantly surprised with the features and functionalities it has. As I was watching the course, I was trying to visualize when and where this tool could be used to add value to PM responsibilities.

I'd like to hear from you. Have you used Power BI in your projects? Share your experience!

Yes, it can help, especially when managing multiple work packages that need to be completed and controlled. It allows you to organize all data efficiently, track progress, and update the project's status for reporting to stakeholders.

It is a great tool for project management. At a previous place of employ before I retired, our data analytics project created a report that pulls information from multiple sources to provide a clear picture (literally) of project financial status. The multiple sources included our SharePoint Project Records, our Accounting system and Timesheets. This was useful for our executive and management team, PMs and others.
