I am a Continuous Improvement Leader and PMP from the Aerospace & Defense Industry.  I was so impressed by the book by Siobhan McHale, "The Hive Mind at Work" that I did a webinar on this topic which should be loaded into ON-DEMAND shortly.  Her method on "Group Intelligence (GQ)" provides coaches, facilitators or project managers the first concrete method I have come across allowing the integration of change management INTO technical problem-solving or project management (adaptive/predictive).  Organizational behavior has become an increasing RISK to sustainment of results over these past years and Siobhan has taken a brilliant approach to shifting group dynamics through the rewiring of people's roles.  Could not recommend this book more if you are working with cross-functional teams!

Thank you so much for your response! Next time I'll provide more examples of using this method which is the first one I've seen to actually integrate change management at the behavioral level INTO technical disciplines!

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly 98 million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea..."
