Anupam that's an interesting technique. I think it would be good to also include a roadmap. That way, we can mark what's done and what's missing visually.

Forget "state of the art" - most organizations aren't even up to a passable level of organizational PM capability. While you can get some improvements by focusing inwards and addressing PM competency, practices or other tactics, a much better lift is achieved when you look holistically at the system within which project work is done, and address the fundamental dysfunctions there, most of which have nothing to do with the teams which deliver projects.

Kwiyuh absolutely, I agree. Continuous review is essential. 'This is the way,' as the Madalron says. It helps us stay on the right path and make necessary adjustments.
Do you have a special ritual or process to do this process?

Clear prioritization of goals, defined roles and responsibilities, and open communication are essential for alignment and accountability. Additionally, leveraging project management tools can streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
Engaging in peer learning, attending workshops, and building a network of PM professionals can also provide valuable insights and best practices. By adopting these strategies, organizations can foster a culture of continuous improvement in project management.
