My thoughts would be that AI models (not necessarily Gen AI) would be helpful in reducing the time it takes to confirm if a given formulation is likely to be commercially and scientifically successful or not. There could also be a lot of benefits of using AI in automating the significant validation documentation requirements for various regulatory bodies.
