My recommendation: being a generalist, not an specialist. Just based in my personal experience and lot of others. Take into account you will contribute to create solutions, not to run projects. And complement all your knowledge related to project management with business analysis knowledge. Remember that, doing a simplification, you have to get knowledge on process, tools and people management. Remember the stack of things; approaches (agile, lean, etc), over approaches life cycles (waterfall, iterative, incremental, iterative-incremental, etc), over approaches methods (scrum, kanban, sdlc, etc), over approaches tools (jira, ado, etc).  If you master this type of things you will succeed. Forget about certification except if see that a certification will help to find jobs.
