PMO maturity is not a destination, but a strategic journey.
A mature PMO (Project Management Office) is not only defined by standardized processes or well-designed templates. Its true value lies in its ability to adapt, evolve and generate impact on the business strategy.
Evaluating the maturity level of your PMO allows you to: Identify gaps between the current and desired state.
Define improvement priorities.
Better align projects with the organizational vision.
Strengthen the credibility and sustainability of the PMO.
What level of maturity is your PMO at, and what is your plan to scale it? Saving Changes...
Thank you for the thoughtful response and for sharing these valuable resources! I’ve started exploring the threads — lots of great insights to reflect on and bring back to our community discussions.
I’m also eager to hear how others are approaching PMO maturity and scalability. It’s clear that we can all learn so much from each other’s journeys.

Fabian, in my organization, the central RMO has that information and shares it sometimes along the year. Personally, I think that information should be more widely available to everyone involved. It's a bit curious how it's centralized when it should be common knowledge. We do have a plan to escalate important points, but again, it's managed centrally.
Regards,
Francisco

Hi Francisco,
Thanks for sharing! I completely agree — that kind of information should be more transparent and accessible to everyone involved. When key insights are centralized, it can slow down alignment and impact across teams. Hopefully, your plan to escalate important points helps bridge that gap. It’s definitely a conversation worth continuing!
