What do you think is the best project management software on the market and does PMI offer a class on PM software?

Does PMI endorse any project management software or useful applications to assist project managers in being more effective in their role? If so, what are they? Are there courses on various project management tools in which certified PMPs may earn PDUs? If not, why not?

There really isn't a single best project management software because every team has different needs. I'd focus less on the tool itself and more on understanding core concepts like resource planning, dependencies, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Once you have those fundamentals, adapting to different platforms becomes much easier.
Tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, ClickUp, and Celoxis all have their strengths depending on your team's workflow and project complexity, so it's worth trying a few with real projects before deciding.
As for PMI, their training focuses on project management principles and certifications like PMP rather than teaching a specific software. For tool-specific knowledge, the vendor's own training and hands-on practice are usually the best resources.
My first question is always, "What problem are we trying to solve?"
"Use AI" can mean anything from automating repetitive tasks to generating insights or improving customer support. Without defining the goal, it's easy to end up using AI just because it's trendy.
