Greetings team
do anyone know what does means this message:
This activity appears to have a PDU claim code for the title.
Please review the activity and resubmit using Course or Training activity if you have the PDU claim code

I got that message while reporting an on-line or Digital media on PMI.
Thanks

Luis, you're likely submitting PDUs for a Course or Training that has an official PDU Claim Code, but you're trying to enter it manually instead of using the claim code option. This code should be provided by the course provider then you can go to your CCRS PMI Account:

1) Go to “Report PDUs”
2) Select "I have a claim code" (instead of "Course or Training")
3) Enter the PDU Claim Code exactly as given
4) The system will auto-populate the details for you
5) Submit

PMI expects you to use the claim code method for activities that provide them. Manually entering the same course causes a mismatch, triggering the error message.

Hi Luis,

That message means the system detected your entry matches a course that already has a PDU claim code. In such cases, PMI requires you to report it under "Course or Training" instead of "Online or Digital Media."

If you have the PDU claim code (usually provided by the course provider), just resubmit the activity under the correct category. If not, try checking your course confirmation email or certificate for it.

Hope this helps!

Dear Luis, It usually means that the activity you’re trying to report has a PDU claim code, and PMI wants you to submit it under “Course or Training” instead of “Online or Digital Media.”

Just go back, choose Course or Training as the type, and enter the PDU claim code there. That should fix the issue.

Hope this helps!

I see this pop up when I try to submit PDUs for an article on the PMI site and I have looked and there isn't a code. It would be interesting to understand why that pops up since if there is a code it would be helpful if that was provided if we do need to use the Course/Training activity form to submit.

I got this same error when i was trying to log a book. The system thinks I was entering a course number. My book title had a colon in the title, i removed the colon and was able to submit my book under book category without getting the error. I would try removing and special characters. Hope this helps.

Effectivement, si vous enregistré un livre il fait supprimer tous les caractères spéciaux du titre, soit les deux points, apostrophes, etc. J'ai supprimé et mon livre à passé. Merci pour le conseil.
