I'm looking for recommendations for Project Management Portfolio software for large a large company. I've seen posts about this topic, but it was 2021 - and I'm looking for a more recent recommendation.

I’d also assess integration with your existing systems, role-based access, data governance, scalability, implementation effort, reporting flexibility, and total cost of ownership. A pilot using real portfolio data is probably the best way to test whether the platform works in practice. I’ve found the most practical approach is to connect the PM lifecycle and SDLC rather than treat them as separate processes. Project management should provide the structure around scope, milestones, resources, risks, and governance, while the SDLC manages requirements, development, testing, and releases. The important part is maintaining traceability between the two. Tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Celoxis can help with that, but clear ownership, handoffs, and change control matter just as much.
