CPMAI Exam

Hello, I am 75% through the CPMAI course and cannot help thinking about the exam.  The course is so terminology laden that I am getting a bit panicked about what the exam will be like.  Is there a comprehensive practice exam that is available? I plan on going through all of the quizzes again but I know that is not the same as a fresh practice exam. Are there many of the "select all that apply" types of questions? If so are those weighted in such a way that if you miss one out of the total correct options that you will not get the entire thing marked wrong? Example- 4 correct selections but I only selected 3-- would the entire question get marked wrong or only 25%. I am looking for some direction, as I am feeling a bit lost when it comes to preparing for the exam. I appreciate any help. Thank you

ngl i mostly relied on itexamslab for this one. wasn’t trying to overcomplicate things with 10 different resources. went through their stuff a couple times, googled whatever didn’t make sense, and that was pretty much my prep. it’s not magic or anything, you still need to understand what you’re reading, but it definitely helped me get through the exam without wasting time.

The same way I felt as I prepared for the CPMAI. At first, the terminology can be overwhelming, but once I focused on understanding concepts rather than memorizing every term, the actual exam was easier to manage. I was definitely helped by taking the quizzes again. I also used some extra practice questions from Certs4Sure just to get comfortable with the exam style and reduce anxiety before the real test.

It’s completely normal to feel this way near the end of the CPMAI course. The best thing you can do now is practice with fresh exam-style questions instead of only repeating the quizzes. That helps a lot with confidence and understanding the terminology in real scenarios.
You can also try CPMAI practice questions from P2PExams to get exposure to different question patterns and exam-style scenarios. That can really help reduce the panic and make you feel more prepared before exam day. Good luck, you’re already 75% through, so you’re closer than you think!

As far as I know, there aren’t any official practice exams available for the CPMAI. I took the exam before it was integrated with PMI, and at that time it was open book. The exam wasn’t particularly difficult, but I’m not sure how much it has changed under the new format.

One thing to keep in mind: if you get a multi-select question and don’t choose all the correct answers, the entire question may be marked incorrect, partial credit likely isn’t given.

Try not to stress too much. Focus on understanding the key terminologies, their meanings, and the intent behind them.

Good Luck!

There is an official practice test for $100 on PMI. Do not buy it. It won't help you in any way. The questions are very easy. If learning is your goal, use PMI Infinity. It is very good for learning.
