Why can't I access courses I have purchased?

Over the past several weeks I have been dealing with an issue that I am sure others are struggling with; accessing my courses through PMI on my work computer. Apparently PMI has made changes to their website, specifically in course delivery, that is setting off corporate security settings where it did not before. When I contacted PMI support (which is a joke) regarding this issue, I was told I would need to access my courses on my personal computer.

However, this course was purchased by my employer for work. I am supposed to be doing this training at work. Why would I not be able to access this course on my work computer? PMI markets to people in the business world and provides training that is specific to the work world. How does you platform not meet the industry standards that LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, Coursera, and many Learning Management Systems easily provide? I was excited to get my membership to PMI through my work a couple of years ago, but it has been a steady road to disappointment. It looks like PMI needs to apply its own methodologies to its technical delivery and customer service.

I am not holding my breath.

Chris, that response from PMI support doesn’t really add up. The PMI website should be accessible from any standard browser, and in my experience, I’ve always been able to access my purchased courses through the "My Library" section regardless of the device I’m using. At the very least, course access should not be restricted based on whether it's a personal or work computer, unless your organization has increased its firewall or security protocols. Even then, a platform like PMI should be designed to function within common enterprise environments, especially given its focus on professional development and corporate training.

I know it’s not an ideal solution, but I’d suggest trying to contact PMI support again. In many cases, if you speak with a few different representatives, you’ll get a variety of responses and occasionally, you might get someone who actually understands the issue and can offer a real solution. It can be frustrating, but sometimes persistence is the only way to get past the initial unhelpful responses.

I have a problem where I have just purchased the 4 modules of the PMI-CP course and if I click on any one of the course e-learning material, I end up if a blank screen with only a PMI logo?? What now?

This is the issue I struggled with for weeks. The response from PMI support was that I should use my personal computer because there was an issue with many work related networks not allowing the courses to load. This was never resolved to my knowledge. I gave up.

I have managed to access the material. It seems to be the browser that I was using. I used Chrome but it seems to work better on Microsoft Edge.

After much frustration, I also had luck switching to Edge after clearing all cookies, cache.
