That’s a thoughtful observation, and I fully agree that product managers play a key role in shaping positive impact.

However, I would say the principal challenge today is balancing value creation with systemic awareness.

Product managers are not only delivering products; they are designing ecosystems of impact.

To truly improve society, they need to connect project management discipline (structure, delivery, governance) with product mindset (empathy, discovery, and long-term value).

In other words, the challenge is not only how to deliver, but why and for whom we deliver.

That’s where project management and product leadership can truly converge to create regenerative impact.

Product managers indeed face the challenge of balancing business goals with the broader impact on society.
From my perspective, the principal challenge lies in navigating competing priorities: user value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment, all while ensuring ethical and sustainable outcomes.
Product management today it’s about delivering responsible innovation that improves how people live and work. When PMs connect business intent with social purpose, that’s where the real impact happens.

Ernesto Raul Cruz Hernández quizá no comprendí bien tu pregunta.
