A legacy is sharing and continuing our core values, beliefs, and experiences with the goal of inspiring future generations. It encompasses notions of ethics, a sense of purpose, and the positive impact you've made through your work and consistent actions. What kind of legacy do you want to leave for the teams and projects you've led?
I want to leave a legacy where teams consistently follow clear processes, communicate transparently, and take ownership of outcomes, so projects remain effective, ethical, and scalable even after my leadership ends. Saving Changes...
My legacy to the Project Management fratenity out there is treating all your stakeholders as Team Members. it is important to note that all stakeholders whether they be Sponsors, external or internal stakeholders, the team working on the projects, functional Managers providing resources, etc to the project are part of the bigger project team and must be seen as playing vital roles no matter how insignificant that role may be are part of the team ensuring the project overall objectives are met. Without all incldusive a project cannot be successful. Saving Changes...
I hope my legacy is twofold: first, a team that feels I made them better—through coaching, advocating for them, and creating growth opportunities. Second, projects that are not just completed, but are built on a foundation that makes future iteration and scaling easier. For me, success is leaving both people and products in a better, more resilient state.

It's a good approach, Chung. Resilience is an important quality to promote, since it guarantees continuity and overcoming obstacles, either for products or services, as well as for people, who become encouraged, empowered, and reach their highest potential.

My legacy would be rooted in fostering an environment where every individual feels understood in their unique talents, core principles, and personal aspirations. I would strive to empower them to embark on a journey of self-discovery, guiding them towards identifying and pursuing their own distinct purpose and path, rather than conforming to external expectations. The goal is to ignite within each person the courage to live their authentic dreams, recognizing that the journey to one's true calling often requires diligent effort and unwavering commitment. Ultimately, I aim to be a catalyst for personal fulfillment and genuine self-direction. Saving Changes...

I hope they learn to recognize opportunities early and leverage feedback thoughtfully, instead of reacting defensively. And above all, to see leadership as a resource to help achieve goals together, leaders and teams working as a collective, never as a threat or a burden. Saving Changes...
