As a digital marketing strategist and team lead, I prioritize impact-driven tasks using performance data and effort analysis. This approach helps realign workload without risking deadlines or team burnout.

When timelines remain fixed, ask yourself: why?
If workload increases, is it due to increased work because of what:
scope increase (where does that come from),
Rework due to poor quality,
reduced efficiency among team members (mood change, loss of key people),
overly optimistic estimates ...

You see: lots of potential causes, and each comes with a different medicine

The first step is to pause and diagnose the cause, not push harder.
Extra work usually comes from somewhere: scope growth, rework, reduced efficiency, or unrealistic estimates. Each requires a different response. Reprioritization may help in the short term, but sustainable progress comes from making trade-offs visible, clarifying what truly matters now, and addressing the root cause rather than compensating with pressure or more people.
