Both of these tools are part of my daily workflow. However, when it comes specifically to project management thinking, I find myself turning to PMI Infinity first—then ChatGPT for broader perspectives.

Curious to hear from others—how do you use these tools in your project work?

Great question, Md. Golam Rob Talukdar

I use PMI Infinity for project management questions, or clarification or for training purposes relative to PMI. It helps me to get a clear insight from PMI perspective.

ChatGPT is more useful for other types of conversations or conversations.

In my activities, I also use Claude for simple coding purposes.

Nice—having both PMI Infinity and Copilot in the mix sounds powerful. Do you find yourself using each for different types of tasks?

I see them as complementary rather than choosing one over the other.
PMI Infinity is great when you want alignment with PMI standards and terminology, while ChatGPT helps explore different perspectives, scenarios, or ways of approaching a problem.
It really depends on what you need in the moment.

Great point—I see it the same way. PMI Infinity helps keep things aligned with standards, while ChatGPT adds flexibility and broader thinking. Using both together really gives a more complete perspective.

I personally don’t rely solely on any one tool. I use both, when and as needed, for input and perspective, but ultimately I lean on my own judgment and experience to make decisions. Tools support my thinking, they don’t replace it.

Well said. I completely agree—tools are there to support thinking, not replace it. In the end, judgment and experience still make the real difference.

For me, PMI Infinity is my go-to for structured project management—processes, standards, and documentation—while ChatGPT serves as a creative and analytical companion, helping explore ideas, identify risks, or generate solutions beyond formal frameworks. Together, they balance rigor with flexibility in project execution.

"Impartial observers from other planets would consider ours an utterly bizarre enclave if it were populated by birds, defined as flying animals, that nevertheless rarely or never actually flew. They would also be perplexed if they encountered in our seas, lakes, rivers and ponds, creatures defined as swimmers that never did any swimming. But they would be even more surprised to encounter a species defined as a thinking animal if, in fact, the creature very rarely indulged in actual thinking."
