Ahmed, from what I hear from candidates, the biggest surprise is that many expect the actual PMP exam to closely mirror the wording and style of practice exams, whether from PMI Study Hall or other providers.

They prepare with that expectation, only to find that the real exam feels different in how scenarios are presented and how questions are framed. The underlying concepts are the same, but applying them in the exam's context often requires a different mindset than simply recognizing familiar practice question patterns.

I took the PMP exam a while back, and the biggest surprise was that multiple answers often looked correct you really have to find the absolute best option. The exam was packed with lengthy, situational questions. I would say the difficulty was medium. Being quick with formulas helps, but actual project management experience is what really gives you the context to pick the right answer.
Reading the PMBOK Guide a few times and practicing different question patterns can be beneficial. Also practicing answering questions at a consistent pace will ensure you don't run out of time on exam day. I hope this helps, all the best!
