Perhaps I did not understand your question. First of all, just to comment, AI is not generative AI. Generative AI is just a subset. But key points emerges when the new model of generative AI was presented in 2017. All related to ethical issues when you use or implement generative AI is inside the Responsible AI component. People can check it and will find all needed about the matter.

Thanks. It means there's room for further research evaluation of the AI and caution in the deployment in Project management based on ethical issues that is domicile in human emotional interactions.

You are welcome. I am actively working in creating generative AI products to be used internally and/or our customers. The product I am directly involved right now is the product that supports Responsible AI implementation so it is cross to all the others.
AI itself doesn't handle ethics; it just follows patterns in its data, so it can carry hidden bias or make unfair calls without knowing it. That's why a human project manager must always check AI's decisions before acting on them, especially ones affecting people, cost, or safety Saving Changes...

An important question. AI does not resolve ethical issues on its own, because it cannot assume moral responsibility or determine which values should prevail when legitimate interests conflict. It can help identify bias, surface risks, test consistency, and provide evidence for decisions. But the ethical quality of its use depends on the governance around it: who defines the objectives, which data and assumptions are used, who can challenge the output, who has authority to decide, and who remains accountable for the consequences. Perhaps the real question is not how AI deals with ethics, but how organizations preserve ethical judgment and responsibility when AI increasingly influences project decisions. Saving Changes...

Ethical issues in project management. AI inherits its information from human intelligence, yes? So do we believe AI is going to solve ethics and trustworthiness issues that humans have failed to solve?
A list of these issues would be valuable, enlightening, and very awkward. 😊
Imagine a hierarchy of issues related to ethics and trustworthiness.
AI can support ethical decision making by identifying risks, checking compliance, and highlighting potential bias, but it cannot replace human judgment. Project managers remain accountable for fairness, transparency, privacy, and decisions that affect people. AI should inform ethical choices, not make them. Saving Changes...

Interesting question, Jude. In practice, AI itself doesn't "handle" ethics — it can flag inconsistencies or biased patterns in data, but the ethical judgment still has to come from the project manager and team. I'd say AI is more useful for surfacing potential ethical red flags early (like cost or resource bias) than for actually resolving them. Saving Changes...
This is one of the risks using AI. While using AI, the Project Managers need to manage several issues to protect sensitive data and maintain legal compliance or else will face legal issues and concerns. It is better to plan from the begining and study the problems facing the organization, analyse which problem requires AI solution and select the appropriate AI model and pattern with a data governance plan in place.
