I'm excited to share the first issue of Season 1 of my new publication series, Construction Intelligence™.
Over the past decade, the construction industry has invested heavily in digital transformation. Yet many projects continue to experience delays, cost overruns, fragmented communication and slow decision-making.
This raises an important question:
Has technology transformed the way we make decisions, or has it simply digitised the way we report them?
In this first issue, I introduce the concept of Organizational Decision Latency the time between knowing and deciding and explore why reducing this gap may become the next competitive advantage for construction organizations.
This publication marks the beginning of Season 1 – The Intelligent Construction Revolution, where I'll be sharing practical insights on Construction Project Management, PMOs, Digital Transformation, Data Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI, with a focus on how these disciplines can reshape the future of our industry.
I hope you enjoy reading it, and I genuinely welcome your thoughts and feedback.
Has your organisation truly transformed the way it makes decisions, or has it simply digitised the way it reports them?
