An important initiative.
I would add one further observation.
Professional communities create their greatest value not simply by connecting people with similar backgrounds, but by creating opportunities to exchange different experiences, challenge perspectives and learn from one another.
Shared cultural understanding can be a strong foundation, yet long-term professional growth is often strengthened even further through diverse collaboration across industries, disciplines and international contexts. Wishing you every success in building those connections.

As a Project Manager, 'exiled' in Australia, I value diversity in any community, especially in a community of practice. Whilst a community based on cultural background is good, a community of practice that understands the context in which projects are delivered is far more valuable.
