I'm starting in a new role where I'm trying to design processes and templates for clinic acquisitions and integration efforts. Does anyone have any resources that have been especially helpful in this space?

A very useful challenge, particularly because the goal is to design a repeatable acquisition and integration capability rather than manage a single transaction.

I would avoid trying to build one exhaustive checklist.
A better foundation may be a modular architecture covering governance, clinical operations, regulatory requirements, people, finance, technology and data, facilities, vendors, stakeholders and Day-1 readiness, then tailoring it to each acquisition.

For each material item, I would capture not only the task, but also ownership, decision authority, dependencies, risks, required evidence and escalation paths.
A completed activity is not always evidence of readiness, especially where patient continuity, compliance or critical systems are involved.

The aim is therefore not simply to capture every possible step, but to create a system that reliably identifies what matters in each acquisition and provides sufficient evidence that critical conditions are ready before critical transition points are reached.

Over time, validated lessons from each integration can improve that baseline without turning it into an ever-growing checklist.
