I am a Project Manager with my PMP for over 20 years, and I am interested in another certificate. I am leaning towards the PMI Risk Management Professional Certificate; I think this will provide the most benefit for my project management assignments.

Does anyone have any experience in pursuing an additional PMI Certification after the PMP?

I got the PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP & a number of DA-related certifications many years after I got my PMP. When I got the RMP in 2011, it was out of interest in that knowledge area as it is the weakest implemented and supported in most organizations. Having earned it at a fairly early stage, I was given the opportunity to contribute to all of the PMI RM standards & practice guides from that point on.

From a career opportunities or advancement perspective, I don't feel any of the post-PMP certifications have directly helped but in some cases they were required to be able to do a part of my job. For example, to teach the DA courses, I did need to hold some of the DA certs.
