Hello. My recomendation is searching between the templates available in PMI site (thiis site) or something I am doing is to use Infinity or other generative AI based tools to create them. In this case you have to consult with your organization about the policies to use public generative AI tools to exposse the data.

Hi Amro, I would recommend checking PMI's resources and template library as a starting point, particularly materials related to program management.

For the Program Business Case, I would look for a template covering strategic alignment, expected benefits, investment justification, alternatives, risks, and financial assumptions. For the Program Charter, I would focus on objectives, high-level scope, governance, key stakeholders, major milestones, and the program manager's authority.

You can also adapt existing templates to your organization's governance requirements rather than starting from scratch. The important thing is keeping the business justification and the formal authorization of the program clearly distinguished.

We keep ours very practical. The Business Case is mainly used to explain why we're investing, what problem we're solving, expected benefits, estimated cost, key risks, and what success looks like. It's what helps secure funding and stakeholder buy-in.

The Program Charter is more of a delivery agreement. It defines the objectives, scope, governance, key stakeholders, decision owners, milestones, dependencies, and how the program will be managed.

In practice, I try to keep both documents concise. If they become 30-40 page documents that nobody reads after approval, they lose their value. The best templates are the ones teams actually use throughout the program lifecycle.
