After earning a PMP certification and moving to a well-reputed organization, should we consider working as a Project Coordinator?

Ali, earning a PMP certification doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll step straight into a managerial role. Job titles and organizational structures vary from one company to another, so a Project Coordinator in one organization may have responsibilities similar to a Project Manager in another. Starting as a Project Coordinator in a well-reputed organization is not a step backward. It can be a great opportunity to understand the company’s processes, build relationships, gain hands-on experience, and demonstrate your capabilities. Focus on the role’s responsibilities, learning opportunities, and career growth potential rather than the job title alone.

I would recommend that you investigate the Project Coordinator role, and hopefully you will be able to grow your career with this well-reputed organization. If things do not work out, you can take your experience with you to the next organization.
